This book had a glorious and fun start to it. I was enjoying how kink focused it was, though it not having a trigger list as well as the site it directs you to for said trigger list not being up anymore isn't helpful to people. It did deal with Dub-Con rather heavily which personally I don't typically read.

The push and pull that Kira mentally deals with was well written and interesting to watch play out.

Honestly though, when I hit around three quarters of the way through the book I kind of just started to fall off. The explanations that Ryker gives about why he did what he did just had me mentally screaming "THERAPY!" I don't feel that his RSD (rejection sensitive dysphoria) was a good enough reason for why he did what he did. It honestly took me right out of the deliciously dark fantasy that was being told. That reasoning just brings me right back to reality with why AFAB and effeminate people have such a hard time telling people no.

Otherwise though, fun and dark read.
