This took me longer than I wanted to get through but I found the book really enjoyable. The beginning took a bit for me to get into just because it starts when they're sixteen. I'm not really interested in reading about minors anymore so that on it's own makes things a little bit of a slog to get through for me.

Kyran's trauma was predictable for me by the time the big reveal happened but I don't mind that.

I loved reading about the boys and their friends though. I wouldn't mind a side story about whatever was going on with Theo in the background though. Definitely caught my interest.

I liked the writing style and will eventually be looking into her other books.
